Mr. Sanghun received his B.S. and M.S degrees in electrical engineering from Kwangwoon University (ROK) in 2002 and 2004, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, in 2012. From 2012 to 2015, he was a Senior Engineer with Samsung Electronics (ROK) where he designed HIS products for high-speed I/O systems. In 2015, he founded WAVEPIA Inc., which focuses on developing low power RF SOC, RF GaN PLL solutions. He currently holds the position of Chief-Executive-Officer with WAVEPIA Inc. His research interests include transceiver systems and circuit design at digital, RF GaN TR, High Power GaN PLL for millimeter-wave frequencies.

After leaving the US Navy, John worked in RF engineering and management roles at Motorola, Frequency Products Inc, Benchmark, and Richardson Electronics before joining Elite RF as VP of Sales and Marketing in 2019.

Mr. Gerling has 35+ years background in engineering and development of products for microwave heating in consumer, commercial, industrial and scientific applications. Author of several peer-reviewed technical papers on microwave applications and safety and inventor on patents for microwave consumer appliances. Founder and former owner of Gerling Applied Engineering, Inc. (Modesto, USA), a leading manufacturer of microwave equipment for industrial heating and plasma processing. Currently semi-retired as a consultant for microwave heating applications to industry, academia and government research organizations. Recent projects include design and prototype construction of commercial microwave appliances, custom applicators and waveguide components, technical “white papers” on client-specified topics, and seminars and webinars on microwave heating technologies.
